Dwight Arthur
I've messed up my licenses and I'm looking for someone who can explain the current status and what comes next. I received an email announcement of a flash sale on Nitro licenses. It was sent to an email address that only Notro/cleverbridge has, so i Assumed that it was a legitimate offer to renew my license that I got about a year ago. It seemed to be a good price, and I also bought the "free upgrade" add-on. When I went to activate the new serial number I discovered that the last time I bought a license was in March, 2021. Then, I discovered that in the help/about section where you can activate licenses, the license there was an old one, from 2017 or 2018. The license I bought in 2021 had not been activated. So I activated the serial number that I bought in 2021. Questions 1. How can I find out whether or not my 2021 license included the free upgrade add on? 2. When will my 2021 license expire, one year from when I bought it, which would be March 2022, or one year from when I activated it, which would be January 2023? 3. Assuming that my 2021 license expires in January 2023, one year from when I activated it, will I then be able to activate the new license I bought today and use it until January 2024? I could provide my serial numbers if that helps but I don't think it sounds safe to post them on a public forum.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted February 4, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted February 4, 2022 Hello @Dwight Arthur, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Looking at your purchase records, you purchased a 'Nitro PDF Pro 13 - Upgrade' with serial number 50493x-xxxxxx-715220 last March of 2021 and kindly note it is perpetual (no expiration). After digging further, I can also see you did purchase a NEW Nitro PDF Pro 13 with Product Updates (Unlimited product updates included for 1 year from date of purchase)' with serial number 50493-xxxxxx-447908. This is also a perpetual license. When you made this new purchase, is this for a different machine? I asked because both licenses are a single-user license can be used on two machines as long as you follow the rules outlined in our End User License Agreement (EULA): 'Licensee may install one copy of the Licensed Software on a single computer. The primary user of the computer on which the Licensed Software is installed may install a second copy of the software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable computer or a computer located at his or her home, provided the software on the portable or home computer is NOT USED at the same time as the software on the primary computer.' Should you have further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out again.
