Version 12 would not convert word documents to a .pdf so I upgraded

Version 12 would not convert word documents to a .pdf so I upgraded.  I just upgraded to 13 and now it doesn't allow me to type text!

Could you please tell if you are getting an error message when using the Type Text tool of Nitro PDF Pro?
If yes, kindly take a screenshot. 

Also, is this happening to all the documents you  open in Nitro PDF Pro?
If you try to create a new document (File > New), does it allow you to use the Type Text tool?
