Jonas Grant Posted February 8, 2022 Report Posted February 8, 2022 (edited) Was this issue ever solved? I am having the same issue in Nitro Pro 13 (13.2.3.26). As part of the PDF creation (printing from MS Word) process, I am applying PDF Security and allowing high res printing, commenting, filling in form fields and signing, but not copying. Jonas Grant Posted February 10, 2022 Author Report Posted February 10, 2022 Thank you for this information, Allain. I did upgrade and tried again, but the result was the same. Hyperlinks clickable in Word are not preserved on conversion to PDF. In case the security settings mentioned above were interfering, I tried a test with no security settings applied, but the result was again the same.
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted February 10, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Posted February 10, 2022 Hello @Jonas Grant, What is your workflow when converting to PDF? Is it through MS Word's File > Print > Nitro PDF Creator? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
Jonas Grant Posted February 12, 2022 Author Report Posted February 12, 2022 Yes, as you stated plus in this instance adding PDF password security to limit copying.
Jonas Grant Posted March 5, 2022 Author Report Posted March 5, 2022 @Allain Umailin@Allain Umalin Any next steps to resolve?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted March 9, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Posted March 9, 2022 Hello @Jonas Grant, Please open a Word document with hyperlinks using your MS Word application, go to Nitro Pro tab, tick 'Convert Links' then click the 'Create PDF' button. Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps.
Jonas Grant Posted March 16, 2022 Author Report Posted March 16, 2022 This worked, but did not provide any option to apply security settings to prevent copying, require a password to edit, etc.
