Ryan Shrewsbury
I do IT for a place and help them manage key activations. Halfway through, I stopped marking down what PCs are using what keys, and now we've run out of keys and I'm not sure how. I can match the partials to the list that I have but none of it makes sense - I'm finding serials that have been used 4 times somehow even though these are 2 per key. We manage all their PCs and can access them by hostname and match them to people, so if I provide the serials I have to Nitro can I get the hostnames of the PC that are using them? Thanks. Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted February 10, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted February 10, 2022 Hello @Ryan Shrewsbury, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Kindly note when it comes to activation and the records we keep our logs are based on a Computer ID which is generated and stored exclusively within Nitro Pro's user interface. We are unable to see the computer names/user names that you are using for the machines internally. We would recommend always maintaining a list of this Nitro Pro-specific Computer ID for each corresponding user. One good scenario is that in the event of a system failure and you were not able to deactivate the license, you can refer to this list to get the Computer ID then send it to us for manual deactivation. To further assist you, could you please provide the serial number/s of your Nitro Pro program? This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones. To send it via private message, hover your mouse on top of my name 'AllainU' and select 'Message'. Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
