Gary Ooyendyk
I've had no issue signing my documents until a few weeks ago. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Nitro PDF and the same error occurs. From the main menu --> Protect --> Certify -- select profile, apply, and then the following error comes up. "The document can not be certified due to an unexpected system error". What do I need to do to fix this problem as I can't certify any electronic document that I need to submit for processing!! Official Nitronaut Reymund Oyong Posted February 17, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted February 17, 2022 Hi @Gary Ooyendyk Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Could you please confirm if the files you are trying to Digitally Sign are opened directly from Microsoft Outlook? If so, can you please try saving the file to your local computer first, then open the saved copy of the file in Nitro Pro and attempt to apply the Digital Signature? Also, what is the version and build of your Nitro PDF Pro? You can see this information by going to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. Kind regards,
Gary Ooyendyk
Hi @Reymund G. Files are stored locally on my PC. I need to digitally sign the PDF so that I can claim reimbursements from a third party. The build version that I am using is Nitro Pro 13.58.0.1180.
