Problems with umlauts and comments in other PDF apps

Hello,

we entered a PDF with a normal text into Nitro and inserted a similar comment.

In Nitro itself everything works as intended. If the PDF is saved and opened in Adobe Reader, the content is also displayed correctly at first glance. (Apart from the comments on the right)

However, if you move the cursor over the content that we have commented on, you will see that the umlauts are not displayed correctly.

In addition, the error message regarding the font appears.

What can be the reason, is this a common problem and easy to work around?

Thank you for the feedback.

Sorry - I'm not sure how to insert pictures here, so I uploaded the two screenshots to https://de.imgbb.com/.

Hi @Dominik Werner

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

My sincere apologies if you have not received a response on this forum post.

I access the links to the screenshots, however, it seems that they are already expired. Would you be so kind to send again the screenshots to visually describe your concern?

Kind regards,

Hi @Dominik Werner

Would you be so kind to share that file so I can take a closer look on my end? It will be very helpful to investigate the scenarios once I have the actual file.

Also, if you open the PDF document using a web browser like Google Chrome or Edge, are you getting the same display?

Kind regards,
