Doug Moore
Please help. In February 2022 I upgraded to Nitro 13 (Ref #3200xxxxx). When I am in Word or Excel, I cannot print to Nitro 13. It hangs in the cue. This is happening on both PC running Windows 10. It happened when I upgraded Nitro. I have tried uninstalling the pdf printer and reinstalling. Same issue. I've run the troubleshooter. Same problem. Thanks for your help, I rely on this feature. If not fixed, I'll need to switch pdf programs. I'd rather not as I like Nitro. Edited April 27, 2022 by Allain Umailin
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted April 27, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted April 27, 2022 Hello @Doug Moore, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! For the sake of initial troubleshooting of this issue, we recommend that you repair your Nitro Pro and MS Office. Please reboot your computer before and after running this repair to ensure that there are no ties to both programs still active in the background. You may refer to this article: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/repair/000004603 If Modify button is greyed-out, please refer to this screencast that will teach you how to go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features and repair your Nitro Pro program or any application installed on your system: https://www.screencast.com/t/rvpUkq40c If repairing didn't help, could you please provide the following?: -Is this a new issue or has it occurred since after installing Nitro Pro? Any changes you are aware of before this happened (e.g. Windows Updates)? -Build of Nitro Pro are you working with. You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 13.XX.X.XXXX, e.g. 13.58.0.1180 ) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. -Please try the below ways of converting and let me know their results (Pass or Fail) on your next response?: a. With Windows Explorer open, drag-drop the attached 'Test Text Document.txt' on top of the Nitro Pro desktop shortcut b. Right-clicking the attached 'Test Word Document.docx' > Convert to PDF with Nitro Pro c. While Nitro Pro is open, go to Home tab > PDF > From File and browse for 'Test Excel Document.xlsx' d. While the 'Test Word Document.docx' is open in MS Word, go to Nitro Pro tab > Create PDF e. While 'Test Excel Document.xlsx' is open in MS Excel, go to File > Print > Nitro PDF Creator Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
