Herman Cardenas
How to I set NitroPro to warn me 'before' closing all of my tabs? Several times I have had several tabs that I needed open and then accidentally closed one of them and closed them all by mistake.
Official Nitronaut Reymund G. Posted June 30, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted June 30, 2022 Greetings @Herman Cardenas Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! By default, Nitro PDF Pro will give the message below when you click the Close button. Enabling the 'Always close all tabs' will prevent this message from showing up each time you close Nitro PDF Pro. To disable the behavior of closing all tabs without a prompt, a registry edit will have to be performed. Here are the steps: 1. Open the Windows Registry Editor of Windows (Use Windows Search and search for Registry Editor) 2. Navigate to path - \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Nitro\Pro\13\Settings\Preferences\kPreferences 3. Look for the kPrefAlwaysCloseAllDocuments 4. Set the value from /b 1 to /b 0 5. Click Ok then restart Nitro PDF Pro. Please note that you need to be careful when editing in Windows Registry.
