FYZICAL MetroWest Posted July 19, 2022 Report Share Posted July 19, 2022 I am trying to deactivate Nitro Pro on one computer so I can install it on my new computer. When I click deactivate in Nitro Pro, I get the -24: Activation Error notice. I went onto https://www.gonitro.com/support/ticket as instructed by the Nitro help pages, but when I enter the info for the support ticket, it brings me to the Licensing portal. I click deactivate there, and am told to "choose a device." The page states that if the licensing portal doesn't solve the problem, submit a support ticket, but that link just brings me back to the licensing portal - round and round. Using the license portal, please check the version of your serial number. If the version is 12, please install Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574 so you could successfully activate. The Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574 installer can be located from the link below: https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 12' link. Posted July 25, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted July 25, 2022 Hi @Michael Tims Deactivation on old installations will no longer work since old serial numbers were moved/migrated to the new activation server. Along with the migration, old serial numbers were reset and enabled to activate the latest build of Nitro PDF Pro 12. This means, you do not need to deactivate the old installation (since it will no longer reach the old activation server) and simply install the latest build of Nitro PDF Pro 12 on the new computer. The Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574 installer can be located from the link below: https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 12' link. FYZICAL MetroWest Posted August 5, 2022 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2022 (edited) The serial numbers I have are: 234601-xxyyzz-948734 234601-xxyyzz-855168 234601-xxyyzz-502902 234601-xxyyzz-345794 234601-xxyyzz-775709 It's fine to deactivate all of them; as long as they are all deactivated I can reactive them on the right computers. To successfully use these serial numbers, please install the latest build of Nitro PDF Pro 12 (12.16.6.574). The installer can be located from the link below: https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 12' link.
