PDF Pen Pro 13.1 Crashes/Freezes Constantly on MacBook Pro 16" 2021 M1 Pro Processor

I have used PDFPen Pro for many years. This version is awful. It constantly freezes, crashes and is generally unstable. i think Nitro has abandoned it. I'm running MacOS 12.5 Monterey. Version 12 had no such issues. Please fix it with and update or it's time to use my Abode subscription..

Same problem.  It freezes and even when I restart the computer and then restart the app it still freezes (as it loads the files that were previously open).  Not good. And the thread shows that Nitro have known about this problem for at least a year and have done nothing about it.  I've a MacBook Pro  OS 10.14.16.
