The FAQ says an upgrade is when a new version is released, like going from version 12 to 13. Updates are releases between major versions, like 12.1 to 12.2, and for things like security and bug fixes etc. Like almost every other software out there, software upgrades usually means purchasing a new licence, but product updates and bug fixes should be included when buying any software. Now, when I had a look at the payment page of nitro pro, it has an additional optional purchase for 12months of updates. Is this supposed to be for an optional 12months upgrade guarantee, or is it really just for updates, and if it is not added to cart, then one is stuck on the original version with no ability to receive small updates and bug fixes?
