I have this same problem! Very annoying, I have worked on it on and off over the past several days. I need to Nitro back up and running so that my wife can do her work. The web site upgrade just does not work!

The last serial number that I have is: 162860438558490434

In the past I needed to reinstall Nitro Pro due to OS reinstall issues, so there was at least one different serial number before this one.

Did you purchase your program from Indigo Software, an Amazon/eBay seller, or from The Soft Coffee?

After installation, you can activate it by opening Nitro Pro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate by entering the same serial number

Thank you for this information.

The Indigo Software company is not an authorized Nitro re-seller and the serial number they sold to you seems to be a cracked version, this is the reason why that serial number does not exist in our system, Nitro's licensing server.

When you purchase a Nitro Pro license from a legit re-seller or directly from Nitro, you will automatically receive a serial number.

Similar reports from a few users also shared that they asked first for the software's installation ID before providing the serial number and then instructed you to manually activate the software that did not go through our licensing server.

Legit and authorized re-sellers ( https://www.gonitro.com/partners ) will not ask for the installation ID before providing a serial number.

My apologies but Nitro Support cannot assist you further due to a serial number that does not exist in our licensing server.

Thank you for your time and response. Apparently, I did not see Indigo Software as a being an illegitimate company, having purchased other software from them over the years.  Unfortunately, I find myself in a difficult situation, Nitro Pro is needed to complete multiple projects for a non-profit, and I cannot afford your discounted price for your new software. If there is anything that Nitro can do it will be greatly appreciated.
