Recently opened file disappears from "Recent Documents" list when ampersand in folder name

I am using Nitro Pro 13.67.0.45

I open a PDF and close it. I then go to File on the menubar and see the PDF at the top of the "Recent Documents".

I repeat the above but open a PDF from a folder with an ampersand (&) in one of the folder names and then close it. I then go to File on the menubar and the PDF is not in the "Recent Documents". Sometimes I can see it there for about 2 seconds and then it disappears.

Removing the ampersand from the folder name and repeating the process then the PDF appears in the "Recent Documents".

Adding the ampersand back and repeating the process then the PDF disappears again.

Quite repeatable.
