Joseph MacDonald
Hi. Bought a new laptop. Windows 11. I would like to get Nitro Pro working on it. When I try to install Nitro Pro, I go thru the wizard and it downloads and continues to the "Install" pootion at which point it immediately crashes with a RunDLL error window stating that there is a problem and a file named MSI****.tmp (each time is a random filename) is not a valid Win32 file. Ideas?

Joseph MacDonald
Hi. Sorry I should have mentioned that I tried that already. Same error, except it happens immediately upon execution of the msi file. Then, after dismissing it, the installation seems to start working before the error pops up again, after which the process dies.
Billy Schindler
Hello Leslie V how do I use the offline installers. I am having the same problem with Nitro Pro 13.70.2.40 on HP laptop with 64bit windows 11 pro. after download, stops and pop up says MSIB305 is not a valid win32 application. When I click on links above it goes nowhere. Billy
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted December 28, 2022 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted December 28, 2022 (edited) Can you please try the following: 1. Download our latest Clean Up utility: https://www.gonitro.com/support/tools/cleanup-utility-list 2. Extract the utility to the desktop (it doesn't properly run from within the zip) 3. Run the utility (NOTE: This will remove any custom signatures / stamps. Let me know if these need to be backed up) 4. Reboot 5. Download and install 13.70 from here: https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads I would also like you to download the latest VC++ package:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-GB/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 Please let me know how that goes. Joseph MacDonald
This did work! Thanks. When I ran the clean up utility, it prompted me to install what I assume was the VC++ package you recommended. Afterwards, the install went smoothly and quickly. Thanks again. Billy Schindler
Hello Leslie V Tried your recommendations for MSIB305 error while installing Nitro Pro 13. No luck. After more failures, stopped my McAfee virus trial and tried again. It worked that time. Hope this could help others. Thank you for your help.
