I am trying to combine two files and Nitro Pro 13 keeps crashing

I have two files that I am trying to combine.  Every time I would try to combine them, Nitro Pro 13 crashed.  I went to see if there was an updated version and I upgraded to 13.70.2.40.  I tried to combine the files again and it still crashed.  I have never had this problem before with the previous version.  I have combined files frequently.  Any suggestions on how I fix this?

Is this only happening when combining these PDFs?

How was this file created and what software was used (e.g. from an external source like a website, from an email message, AutoCad converted-to-PDF files, or an internal application/reporting tool)?

Lastly, is the same issue happening when combining and selecting the Desktop as the destination of the resulting file.
