Royal Cline
I have a user that uses Nitro Pro, and I was setting her up with a new laptop and wanted to transfer the license. I follow the steps that were provided to me via the automated support. This led me to deactivate the license with out having the completed copy of it. I do not know what email is used for the license as her account was set up by my predecessor, and he did not take very good notes/accountability. What are the other ways I can recover that license? I do have the first 6 numbers of the license. Below are the steps that I followed. " To transfer your Nitro license to a new computer, you'll first need to deactivate your license: Open Nitro PDF Pro Click on the help tab Select About Nitro PDF Pro When the new dialog window appears, copy your serial number, then click Deactivate Then, you’ll need to download Nitro on the new computer. Nitro PDF Pro versions 13 & 12 can be downloaded here. If you have an older version of Nitro PDF Pro (version 11 or older), you'll need to upgrade to version 12 and activate that version with the serial number. You can download the free patch for Nitro PDF Pro to upgrade here. Finally, you’ll need to activate your license on the new computer: Open Nitro PDF Pro Click on the help tab Select About Nitro PDF Pro When the new dialog window appears, click Activate Enter your serial number and click Activate "
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted January 16 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted January 16 Hello Royal, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! You can send us the computer ID where Nitro was installed prior so that we can try to locate the serial number that was used there. You can find this ID on each machine by opening Nitro > go to Help > About Nitro Pro > Activate/Deactivate > Advanced.
