jbarrett.ca@gmail.com Posted February 5, 2023 Report Share Posted February 5, 2023 Nitro Pro Crashes when I try to run OCR. I have tried restarting my computer and I reinstalled Nitro. Neither efforts have solved the crash. I had recently selected on OCR options advanced the option to detect text orientation. Thinking that may have been the source of the problem I turned the option off. Turning off the option did not solve the crash problem. Suggestions? I usually run OCR to make the document searchable, but not editable. I tried running OCR under the searchable and Editable option. To my surprise OCR ran without crashing. I deleted the scanned document, reloaded the original, re-ran OCR in searchable mode and no crash. Things seem to be running properly now. All systems go.
