Nitro Pro 12

The issue is, I am trying to transfer my license of Nitro Pro11 from one PC to another.

First effort - I am trying to deactivate from the browser.By clicking "Deactivate", 

it returns a strange message "licenses.gonitro.com says Please select device". I am in the browser, I don't have anything to make a choice or selection. Just a plain table in text stating that I am licensed.

Second effort -  Then I am trying from the application itself to click "Deactivation", and returns me some wierd 24 error message, that I need to contact support.

Third - I tried the manual way, where you download a certificate and the user is supposed to "manually" deactivate it, which again blatantly fails, stating the site does not exist to make this action.

(update last minute: it seems that I finally deregistered the license, but on the new installation machine, the activation fails again requesting me to contact support(!!!) )

By the way the "support ticket" flow, does not really help, so that is why I am asking for help in the community.

Bottom line, how do I transfer the license to a new machine ?

To further assist you, could you please provide the serial number of your Nitro Pro 12? This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones.

You can send the details of the license in this post so it will be visible to all the moderators. Rest assured we will hide the serial number before making the post visible to this thread.

Please note that we no longer support Nitro Pro 11 and its activation servers have been shut down which its installers are no longer available for download.

We recommend upgrading to our latest version, Nitro PDF Pro 13, which comes with significant stability and security improvements, as well as many feature enhancements, in particular in conversion and OCR functions. To upgrade to Nitro PDF Pro 13 at a discounted rate, please visit our Upgrade page https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade


Alternatively, you can upgrade to the latest build of Nitro Pro 12. Per our Sunset Policy, https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/sunset-policy , we stopped making feature enhancements to version 12 once we released Nitro PDF Pro 13.

You can find these Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 installers and activate it with your current Nitro Pro 11 serial number 234601-xxyyzz-712688:

Hello Allain!

First of all thank you for the solution with the pro12 version. I did install it and really seems to be workable as before.

So I understand that this install was a fix for the serial.

My concern is that I need to update 9 more licenses. This that you fixed is one out of 10.
How should I proceed?
Should I give you the serials to pass me on an updated version ?

Thank you for your response.

You should be able to use the same MSI installers for version 12 if you prefer not to upgrade to Nitro PDF Pro 13.

We highly suggest to upgrade to version 13 and to know more about some enhancements and fixes with Nitro PDF Pro 13, please visit our Release Notes page https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/release-notes

In addition to that and many other feature improvements, version 13 also contains some important security vulnerabilities fixes that you might want to consider when deciding whether to upgrade to it or not.
