Product maintenance for Nitro PDF Pro

Hi,

I would like to enquire the Nitro PDF Pro. If I purchase the Nitro Pro current version without getting the add-ons product update. Will I entitle to future product update?

Will the purchase of the add-on entitle to lifetime update of the product?

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

The Product Update allows you to upgrade for free to the next version. For example, if you purchase Nitro PDF Pro 13 now, the upgrade to version 14 will be free of charge. It is not a lifetime free upgrade.

If you do not purchase it, you can still upgrade to version 14 when it comes out. You'll just have to pay for the upgrade price.

Like versions 11 and older, these versions are discontinued and no longer being updated: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/sunset-policy

Though upgrading is not required, we recommend upgrading to our latest versions when they come out because the current versions are what we update. They are released with significant stability and security improvements, as well as many feature enhancements.

New updates to the same version (as in new builds but still Nitro Pro 13 -- 13.58.0.1180, 13.67.0.45, and 13.70.2.40) are available here at no charge: https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads)

If a new version (say, version 14) is released, it is deemed an upgrade and is therefore offered at a discounted upgrade price. I hope that makes sense.
