Simon Evans
Morning, I have deactivated my Nitro Pro license from my old laptop, eventually been able to install Nitro Pro v12 on the new laptop (could not get Nitro Pro v13 to install - would say c:/Windows/installer/MSIF174.tmp is not a valid win32 application), however when i try to activate the license on the new laptop it says the "License doesn't exist". I can still re-activate the license on the old laptop - and i obtained the license number via Cleverbridge - so am confident the issue is not that the license doesn't exist... appreciate any ideas? Official Nitronaut Reymund G. Posted March 2 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted March 2 Greetings @Simon Evans Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! In checking your email address, I can see that you have a version 13 license where the serial number starts with 504. If this is correct, you will need to install Nitro PDF Pro 13 on the laptop so you can activate using this serial number. The executable installer of Nitro PDF Pro 13 can be located from the link below:https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 13' link. But if you are getting an issue during the installation using the executable installer, please try installing Nitro PDF Pro 13 using the offline MSI installer. Here's the link to the installer: 64bit - https://downloads.gonitro.com/professional_13.70.2.40/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x64.msi 32bit - https://downloads.gonitro.com/professional_13.70.2.40/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x86.msi Kind regards,
Simon Evans
Thanks Raymund, unfortunately neither the executable installer or the Offline MSI Installer work - running the 32bit notes my system is 64bit, running the 64bit notes that it isnt a valie 32bit application... so still stuck. Not sure if you / others have any other thoughts?
Official Nitronaut Reymund G. Posted March 7 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted March 7 Hi @Simon Evans Can you provide the exact message or screenshot when running the 64bit MSI installer? Also, what is your Windows Operating System? Kind regards,
Simon Evans
Operating Windows 11 Home, Version 22H2. Below are the 2x error messages - first being on clicking the manual executable installer, second (on rhs) being once the installer launches. (as i cannot seem to attach / include screenshot) - when installing the 64bit exe file. First error: "There was a problem starting C:\users\Simon\appdata\local\temp\MSIBEBB.tmp C:\users\Simon\appdata\local\temp\MSIBEBB.tmp is not a valid Win32 application." Second error: "There was a problem starting c:\Windows\Installer\MSI8268.tmp c:\Windows\Installer\MSI8268.tmp is not a valid Win32 application." NOTE - when i run the 32bit manual exe file, it says: "You are running a 64bit operating system. Please download the 64-bit Nitro Pro installer from https://ww.nitropdf.com/downloads/"
