Reinstalled Nitro PDF Pro won't recognise Serial Number

I tried to reinstall Nitro PDF Pro as I kept getting Error 401.

Now it won't recognise the Serial Number athough I had saved it from the error version.

Can you assist?

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Please provide your serial number including the version and complete build of Nitro PDF Pro that is currently installed on the computer.
The version and build is found under the Help tab > About Nitro Pro.

I think it was version 12 (but might be 13) that I had. I have now reinstalled it so don’t have that information

serial number is 

234***************

Hi @David Flint

The serial number you provided is a version 12 license. 
Please check the version and complete build of the software installed on your computer. This can be found when you open Nitro then navigate to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. 
If your installation is not on 12.16.9.574, please install that using the installer from the following location:

https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 12' link. 

Once Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574, you should be able to activate it using your existing license.
To activate, open Nitro then go to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate. Enter the serial number then click Activate.

Hi @David Flint

Please try the steps below and see if it fixes the 401 message:

1. Open your Nitro PDF Pro then close the 401 error message if it shows up. 
2. At the top right, click the Logout then close Nitro Pro.
3. Open Nitro PDF Pro then click the Login button and login using your Nitro Sign account. 

I believe you have installed the 12.16.9.574 build and able to activate it using your existing serial number?
