Nitro Pro 12 (Re)activation

I have Nitro Pro 12 on my PC and want to move a copy to my laptop.  When trying to activate, I am getting the activation error related to this thread: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/answers/Nitro Pro/000004327 (-24 activation error).  

Do I need to do something to get an updated serial number/license key combination?

That is interesting that I was able to get v12 activated by Nitro when I purchased it originally in 2019.  I have purchase a lot of software from Indigo, all of which is legally licensed, as far as I know.  Again, interesting that it was registered/activated in 2019 using the serial number I provided, but now you are telling me it is not.  Sad.
