Unable to activate NitroPro v13

I just purchased a new laptop and loaded my paid version of NitroPro v13, but when I try to activate it, NitroPro says, "OFFLINE  You seem to be offline.  Connect to your internet to get the most out of your Trial."

I'm on the Internet, but no problem I thought.  I'll choose the manual activation... but when I click on the manual activation button, the pre-certificate is empty!  I tried using my Internet hotspot instead of the Comcast Enterprise fiber circuit we have in our building, but no luck.

How do I activate NitroPro PDF on my new laptop?

Please check if your Nitro PDF Pro 13 installation is on the latest build (13.70.4.50 at this point). The details can be found under the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. 
If your installation is not on the latest build, please update it using the installer from the following location: 

https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 13' link. 

After the installation, open Nitro PDF Pro then navigate to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro and ensure that the version and build is 13.70.4.50. Once confirmed, click the Activate button then enter your version 13 license.

Yes, I checked and I'm running the most recent version (v13.70.4.50) and I'm still unable to activate it.

Hi Scott, 

I recommend performing a clean uninstall using our cleanup tool then reinstall Nitro PDF Pro. This tool will remove all traces of Nitro and the process is different compared to Windows' uninstall. 
For your convenience, I have outlined the steps below:

1. Download Nitro cleanup tool from the link below:
https://downloads.gonitro.com/professional_13.70.2.40/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip 

Please note that customized stamps will be removed since this tool will remove all traces of Nitro. 
If you have customized stamps, please refer to the link below about how to transfer/backup stamps: 
https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase/#/search/stamp/000004307 

Skip this part and move to the next step if you do not have any customized stamps.

2. Extract the cleanup utility then run the cleanup tool by double-clicking nitro-cleanup.vbs. Please be aware that a command window will appear during the cleanup process.
3. After the cleanup, restart the computer. 
4. Download and install Nitro PDF Pro 13.70.2.40 from the link below:

64bit - https://downloads.gonitro.com/professional_13.70.2.40/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x64.msi
32bit - https://downloads.gonitro.com/professional_13.70.2.40/en/retail/nitro_pro13_ba_x86.msi 

5. Once Nitro PDF Pro 13.70.2.40 is installed, launch the software then navigate to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, enter your serial number then click Activate.
