Charles Stabler
Hi there! Computer crashed. Reinstalled trial version on new hard drive. Unable to activate license. I follow all of the prompts and get stuck at "Please select devices to deactivate". No devices are listed and won't allow me to go any further. 1. The serial number you are using to activate the software: Serial Number 234*************** Version 12 Status Active Number of Activations 0 Number of Activations Allowed 2 2. The error message you receive when attempting to activate. "Please select devices to deactivate" However no devices are listed. 3. The version and build of your Nitro PDF Pro, which can be found by opening the application and then navigating to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. NitroPro 13.70.4.50 Edited May 10 by Reymund Oyong Hide sensitive information
Official Nitronaut Reymund Oyong Posted May 10 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted May 10 (edited) Greetings @Charles Stabler Thank you for reaching out through our Community Forums! The Deactivate function is not required if the Number of Activations is zero (0). To resolve this activation issue, uninstall Nitro PDF Pro 13 on your computer then install the latest build of Nitro PDF Pro 12 which is 12.16.9.574https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 12' link. Once Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574 is installed, you can activate it by opening Nitro then navigating to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate and then enter the serial number then clicking Activate. If you are interested to upgrade your license to version 13 at a discounted price, you can do the upgrade through our Online Upgrade portal at https://www.gonitro.com/support/upgrade We recommend upgrading to our latest version, Nitro PDF Pro 13, which comes with significant stability and security improvements, as well as many feature enhancements, in particular in conversion and OCR functions. Kind regards, Edited May 10 by Reymund Oyong
