NitroPDFUser Posted May 10, 2023 Report Share Posted May 10, 2023 Hello. I've got a customer that has a perpetual v12 license that needs to move from one PC to a new one. I've deactivated the installation on the old system, and have attempted to re-activate on the new PC. I've tried to use the self service portal, it shows 0 activation's in use, however when trying to activate the software on this new pc I am getting an error window that states: Quote -24: Activation error Nitro Pro encountered some issues while attempting to activate. Please record the error code above and then contact support via the link below: Submit a support request. I head over to the support request link, and enter in the name and email and serial number of the product in the page, it takes me to a page to deactivate installations, they are already at 0 active activations. I tried to do the manual activation and was directed to http://nitropro.com/activate and it redirects me to a page that doesn't allow me to enter in the machine ID or Activation ID to generate the certificate. NitroPDFUser Posted May 10, 2023 Author Report Share Posted May 10, 2023 (edited) Sorry, there was a typo on my initial post for the activation link, it was "htts://www.nitropdf.com/activate" **EDIT** Just found another topic on the forums here - - does this mean that v11 and v12 are no longer accepting product activations and are "sunsetting"? If so, would installing the latest v12 from the download page - https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads allow the activation to work with the v12 product key? We recommend to upgrade to our latest version, V13, which comes with significant stability and security improvements, as well as many feature enhancements, in particular in conversion and OCR functions. To upgrade to Nitro Pro 13, please visit our upgrade page: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade Alternatively, you can upgrade to the latest build of Nitro Pro 12. Per our Sunset Policy, https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/sunset-policy, we have stopped making feature enhancements to version 12 once we released version 13.
