Official Nitronaut Reymund Oyong Posted May 12 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted May 12 Greetings @Larry Hair Thank you for reaching out through our Community Forums! I noticed that you are running an old build of Nitro PDF Pro 13. The latest build at this point is on 13.70.x.x and I recommend updating to this build. You can find the installer for the latest build of version 13 from the link below:https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 13' link. To update, simply run the installer and it will automatically update your installation to the latest build. When done, please observe if the 401 error persists. If it does, please do the following: 1. Open your Nitro PDF Pro then close the 401 error message if it shows up. 2. At the top right, click the Logout then close Nitro Pro. 3. Open Nitro PDF Pro then click the Login button and log in using your Nitro Sign account. Kind regards,
Larry Hair
Holy cow! That IS shockingly out of date. However, Downloaded and ran the install to get a Nitro Pro Setup Wizard has failed. Also, Deactivated, Unistalled, Rebooted and retried installation. Same result. Thanks for the reply, any other suggestions? Larry

Larry Hair
Thanks Raymond, I actually go it to go yesterday by using an older nitro_pro13_ba_x64.msi that I had downloaded back in Dec of 2019, (version unknown) it had me turning off various things along the course of the install (which I did not log.....) but it finally got all of the way thru, immediately after that the above 13.70.4.50 (exe) just worked without a hitch, so long way around the bush. It's now at v13.70.4.50 and so far, the 401 Error appears to have been resolved. (Hopefully, this version comes with an "auto update"???) I am also certain that your (msi) suggestion would have given me the same result in the end. I will take this moment to replace my 2019 version on file. Thank you! Joseph Gaffney
I will take your advice, bu,t first, I must register my disgust at having to struggle to deal with a program that, until the last two months or so, worked quite well. I strongly suspect that something went terribly wrong at headquarters, i.e., you either lost key programmers or you lost key managers or a combination of the two. What's particularly exasperating is that you seem to anxious to resolve matters (laudable), but you don't seem being professionally transparent when it comes to letting us know what's going on. How very, very Trumpesque. Whatever happens, you should give those of us your Nitro PDF Pro 13 problems afflict a free upgrade to Nitro PDF Pro 14, assuming the "fixes" you suggest actually work.
