Form contents not printing

I received a paper form in the mail. I used Nitro Pro 13 to scan the form and saved it as a PDF. I then used the "Type Text" feature to fill in the blanks on the form. I saved the form to my hard drive, then printed it to my Brother laser printer, as the form needs to be mailed. The text I typed into the form blanks is missing. The form looks exactly like it did after I scanned the paper copy before I filled in any of the blanks. I closed the file, then re-opened it, and the text I entered is showing as I expected. How do I get the software to include the entries in the form blanks and print them on my printer?
