Adding typed text on pdf document is not spacing text correctly

I've been using Nitro Pro for 5 years now and it's worked fine until the past few months.  When I use the "type text" feature, which I use quite a bit, the spacing of the text is off.  This is what the text looks like.  This is sample te xt to show what Nitro is doing whe n I type a line of te xt.  I tried uninstalling and re-installing the software but it's still doing the same thing.  I'm very frustrated with this.  Could you help please.  I've tried to submit a support ticket and it only takes me here.  No phone number, no email to use to reach support.
