Nitro PDF creator Pro 12 not working. Documents stuck in queue indefinitely

I am trying to assist a user with printing to PDF from word and from Nitro Pro. When using the Nitro PDF creator to print. Document go into the print queue and get stuck there until they are cancelled. I have tried making Nitro PDF Creator the default printer. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Nitro. I have Gone to Help>Support tools>PDF Creation and reinstalled Nitro PDF creator, and selected Updates Add ins as well. No change in behavior. This is impacting my user's ability to work.
