My activated version of NitroPDF switched back to a trial version and I am unable to reactivate it. I tried following all the steps to reactivate and browsed through some threads that indicate input serial number, but I never have that option. I have already deactivated the license through the provided lookup portal. I tried going using the provided certificate for version 13 and 14 and it states invalid client id. I tried using version 12's certificate and I get invalid license code. I cannot input the serial number for activation because I only get the screen to copy the pre-generated certificate and to input the new activation certificate. I am not looking to upgrade to the latest version and only want to reactivate the license I have paid for.

Greetings @Christian S

Thank you for reaching out through our Community Forums!

In checking your email address, I can see that you have a version 13 license.
Please uninstall your existing installation then install Nitro PDF Pro 13 using the installer from the link below:

https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 13' link.

After the installation, check the build by opening Nitro PDF Pro then navigate to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. If the build is on 13.70.4.50, click the Activate button then enter your existing license to activate the software.

Kind regards,

Hello! I did download nitro pro 13 from the provided link and it does install 13.70.4.50, but the issue is when I click Activate it doesn't prompt me to enter my serial number. It immediately tells me to go to www.gonitro.com/activation and to paste the pre-generated certificate in order to generate a new one. The provided certificate is returning Invalid Client Date.

Hi @Christian S,

I recommend performing a clean uninstall using our cleanup tool and then reinstalling Nitro PDF Pro 13. Please refer to the steps below:

1. Download the Nitro cleanup tool from the link below:
https://downloads.gonitro.com/professional_14.3.1.193/install-cleanup/install-cleanup.zip

Please note that customized stamps will be removed since this tool will remove all traces of Nitro. If you have customized stamps, please refer to the link below about how to transfer/backup stamps:

https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/stamps/000004509

Skip this part and move to the next step if you do not have any customized stamps.

2. Extract the cleanup utility then run the cleanup tool by double-clicking nitro-cleanup.vbs. Please be aware that a command window will appear during the cleanup process.
3. After the cleanup, restart the computer.
4. Download and install Nitro PDF Pro 13 from the link below:

https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 13' link.

5. Once Nitro PDF Pro 13 is installed, launch the software then navigate to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate. When it asks for a serial number, please enter your version 13 license.

Kind regards,
