Format context tab always greyed out in Nitro PDF

I have a document which is NOT protected. I want to edit a line in the document, e.g. change its color. So I click on the EDIT, then select that line.

After that I  select Format from Object Tools.  All tools in the ADJUST are greyed out (Properties, Brightness, Color, etc.).

I am using Nitro PDF Pro 14.7.1.21 in Trial Mode.

Please, note that changing line properties works fine in Foxit PDF Pro Trial version - using the same pdf file.
