Activiation after computer crash

My old computer crashed and I need to add Nitro Pro to my new computer. I downloaded the free trial and clicked on Activation which sent me to a new window where I input my serial number. However, it said it didn't exist so I followed the steps to deactivate but it then asks which device but there doesn't seem to be any devices showing, so the deactiviation is not going through. What do I do next?

In checking your purchase record, I can see that you have a version 13 serial number and it is ready to use for activation. 
Please ensure that you have Nitro PDF Pro 13 on your computer so you can successfully activate it. Installing other versions will not let you activate using this serial number. 

To check which version is installed on the computer, launch Nitro PDF Pro and then navigate to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro. If the version is not Nitro Pro 13.x.x.x, please uninstall and then install version 13 using the installer from the link below:

https://www.gonitro.com/product-details/downloads - click the 'Download Nitro Pro 13' link. 

Once Nitro PDF Pro 13 is installed, you can activate it by opening the application and then navigating to the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, enter your version 13 license, and then click Activate.
