Mitchell Steers Posted September 6, 2023 Report Share Posted September 6, 2023 Hi there, I was using a Trial version of Nitro PDF and I was really happy with its features, especially its easy ability to scale my documents. This being easier in Nitro than in some of its competitors. When activating the software with my Product Key, it appears to have updated the app I thought this would be fine, but I very quickly realized that the scaling tool, the main reason I wanted to use the program, was changed to what it is in other software, a complete nightmare. Is there another way to get around this? We are using Nitro Pro for Windows. Official Nitronaut Reymund Oyong Posted October 9, 2023 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted October 9, 2023 Hi @Mitchell Steers In checking the provided serial number, I can see that it is a Nitro PDF Pro for Windows license and it is for the latest version (version 14). Furthermore, this version 14 can only activate a version 14 installation. If this license was able to activate your trial version of Nitro PDF Pro, it means that you have installed the trial version of Nitro PDF Pro 14. The previous version is 13 and the scaling tools are the same as version 14. Is this scaling tool related to the Measure tool found under the Review tab? If so, I did not see any difference between 13 and 14 regarding this tool. Can you give more clarity about what is missing in version 14 that is present in 13 (the previous version)?
