I purchased Nitro Pro 9, can't install it

I purchased Nitro Pro 9.

I thought it was a permanent thing. You know, a purchase. But now I can't even install the software I purchased. 

The policy of taking away access to something I purchased is shady and makes me lose some trust in this company. I don't care if my software is updated or supported, I just wanted to do one thing and edit a PDF and I can't even do that. I still have the same install .exe, I still have the same OS. It should work fine, but it won't install now. 

My expired key is 234***-******-***578

Do I have any options for free software, upgrade, discount codes, whatever?
