Can't install Nitro Pro 14: Something is blocking Nitro from proceeding

I downloaded the nitro_pro14.exe installer, but when I attempt to run it I get the error message:

An error occured when resolving resources.

Please try to install the Nitro PDF Pro 14 using the MSI (offline) installer. Please refer to the download links below:
