Navigation pane opened by default (or bookmarks etc)

Hi,

Is there a way to set what navigation panel can be set to open on default when opening any pdfs?

I looked in preferences and there is options for viewing documents on opening but nothing about the panel to be opened by default. Is this a option that I can't find or does it not exist?.

Note, i am not talking about default for an individual pdf, but the default way of viewing all pdfs

From what I understand, you are looking into setting up a default navigation panel (as open) when opening PDFs in Nitro PDF Pro. 
Example: The Thumbnails pane is already open when you open any PDF files in Nitro PDF Pro. 

If this is correct, this navigation option or settings is only available at a document level. Currently, there is no option to configure the default navigation panel at the application level. 
The option available in the Nitro PDF Pro Preferences is the Default Page view but this does not cover the default navigation panel. 

You can submit a post on our Product Improvement page regarding this feature so other users can vote if they also want this feature in Nitro PDF Pro.
