Can't move Nitro to New Computer

I’m a user of 12 (and before that 10, and 8). I’m on a new computer (win64, though this was the same as my prior computer) and I keep getting activation error -24. The support site sends me in an endless loop of entering my email address, name, and serial number 234601-xxyyzz-549966 which gets me back to the same page. Says I have 2 activations left, and to select the device and then deactivate so it will then allow me to activate, but there is no listing of devices to select (i.e. the old computer to deactivate. I’ve already tried to uninstall and then re-install without success. Thanks, KM

Hello @kenm@kenmeyer.org,

Please note that we no longer support Nitro Pro 12.

We recommend upgrading to our latest version, Nitro PDF Pro 14, which comes with significant stability and security improvements, as well as many feature enhancements, in particular in conversion and OCR functions. To upgrade to Nitro PDF Pro 13 at a discounted rate, please visit our Upgrade page https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade

Alternatively, you can upgrade to the latest build of Nitro Pro 12. Per our Sunset Policy, https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/sunset-policy , we stopped making feature enhancements to version 12 once we released Nitro PDF Pro 13 (Q4 2019).

You can find these Nitro Pro 12.16.9.574 installers and activate it with your current Nitro Pro 12 serial number 234601-xxyyzz-549966:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12169574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

To know if you have 32-bit or 64-bit, please refer to this article:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/15056/windows-32-64-bit-faq

Important: If you are using Chrome or any of the Chromium-based browsers (e.g., Vivaldi, etc.) and you are unable to access the above installer links, you're more than likely experiencing the results of a new security feature that was silently pushed out to the browsers, which blocks .exe/.msi/etc downloads without any visible error or prompt on the browser's frontend user space. In order to bypass this, please try these steps:

a. Right-click the link you're trying to download, and select "Save link as..."
b. Choose your save location and select "Save"
c. On the bottom edge of your browser window, the Downloads bar should now appear and the file will show up with a red error icon, attempting to block the download. Press the caret button and select "Keep"

Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps.
