Laura Stovall
Okay, I have upgraded to Nitrol 14. All I'm trying to do is get that Nitro button back in Word. You click the button and it turns your document into a PDF and opens it in Nitro automatically. For some reason, that button is gone and I can't figure out how to get it back. Now, I think I have created some new trial Cloud thing I don't want and I can't get a human, I can't even submit a ticket. I feel like I'm losing my mind. Jesus, I just want the little Nitro button that is in Word. Now, I possibly have some cloud account thing that is a trial version, and I hope when the trial expires it does NOT charge me. Is there not a phone number for these people?
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted January 1 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted January 1 Hello @Laura Stovall, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! For the sake of initial troubleshooting this issue, we recommend that you repair your Nitro Pro. Please reboot your computer before and after running this repair to ensure that there are no ties to Nitro still active in the background. You may refer to this article: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/repair/000004603 If the Modify button is greyed out, please refer to this screen-cast that will teach you how to go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features and repair your Nitro Pro program or any application installed on your system: https://www.screencast.com/t/rvpUkq40c If repairing didn't help, could you please provide the following?: -Is this a new issue or has it occurred since after installing Nitro PDF Pro? Any changes you were aware of before this happened (e.g. Windows Updates)? -The serial number of your Nitro Pro. This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones. -What build of Nitro PDF Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 13.XX.X.XXX, e.g. 13.67.0.45) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features under the Version column. Sending over a screenshot of the 'About Nitro Pro' window will also help me understand what MSI version was used (Retail, Business, or Enterprise). -What version of MS Office are you using (2013, 2016, or 365, and whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit)? Is this also happening with Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint? -What OS is installed on your computer (Windows 8.0, 8.1, 10, or 11, and whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit)? Is it by any chance with an ARM Processor? Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
