-24: Activation Error

I am having the above activation error message.  I installed a new SSD and reinstalled Nitro PDF.  I checked the serial number in the portal and deactivated on my licenses.  The portal shows that I have 1 activation remaining.  I enter the same serial number in the activation window and then I get the -24 error message.  I can provide the serial number.  Any assistance is much appreciated.  Thank you.

This is a Nitro Pro 8 serial number.

Please note, in the license portal, it's indicated as version 12 because older versions of the system and portal are no longer recognized. All version 12 and earlier versions are listed as version 12
