Valerie Kolenbrander
It happens with every document when I use "print to Adobe". It works in applications that allows me to "save as PDF". Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted February 27 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted February 27 Hello @Valerie Kolenbrander, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums and we sincerely apologize for the delay! For the sake of initial troubleshooting this issue, we recommend that you repair your Nitro Pro. Please reboot your computer before and after running this repair to ensure that there are no ties to Nitro still active in the background. You may refer to this article: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/repair/000004603 If the Modify button is greyed out, please refer to this screen-cast that will teach you how to go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features and repair your Nitro Pro program or any application installed on your system: https://www.screencast.com/t/rvpUkq40c If repairing didn't help, could you please provide the following?: -Is this a new issue or has it occurred since after installing Nitro PDF Pro? Any changes you were aware of before this happened (e.g. Windows Updates)? -The serial number of your Nitro Pro. This matters because our business installers are different from the online ones. -What build of Nitro PDF Pro are you working with? You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 13.XX.X.XXX, e.g. 13.67.0.45) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features under the Version column. Sending over a screenshot of the 'About Nitro Pro' window will also help me understand what MSI version was used (Retail, Business, or Enterprise). -Does this happen with every file? If it's a single file, how was this file created and what software was used (e.g. from an external source like a website, from an email message, AutoCad converted-to-PDF files, Crystal Reports (ERP), FileOpen encrypted files, Adobe LiveCycle, Adobe Designer or an internal application/reporting tool)? -Where are the files saved (local, a shared drive, or an external drive) when you are trying to open them? Can you check if you have the same issue when the file is saved locally? -A screenshot of the error message you are receiving and/or any important information. To find out how to take a screenshot using the Snipping Tool, check out this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots-00246869-1843-655f-f220-97299b865f6b Thank you very much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing back from you.
