Robert Gottesman Posted March 12 Report Share Posted March 12 I'm using Nitro PDF Pro (14.19.1.29) x64. For some reason, when I open a pdf file w/Nitro, I get garbage characters on screen. This just started today and I have been successfully using Nitro for 6 months, w/no hiccups. The pdf files are ok as I can open/view via chrome or firefox. Any suggestions? (1) tried windows restart .. no help (2) tried windows "installed apps" nitro manual repair .. no help Other notes * Bookmarks are legible * If I copy (garbage) text from nitro screen and paste into editor .. the paste shows correct text. I assume the problem is with fonts. Document properties always shows some strange fonts .. but I don't know how to change global fonts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Please try downgrading your installation from the 14.19 to the 14.18 build.
