Nitro 10 and 11 Installation on Windows 10

Hi Team

I need to move our existing installations of Nitro 10 and 11 to new laptops that have windows 10 pro with MS office pre installed in it.

I am facing same installation failure issue that probably everyone else on Windows 10 is complaining about. I have gone through some of the recent threads and tried fixing the permissions using takeown script, cleaned any traces of previous installation, rebooted system a couple of times. I have tried with latest installers of Nitro 10 and 11 using the links available in those threads, but all in vain.

Can someone help with this as I have to prepare ~10 machines and it's failing on all of them.

Hello @Usman,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

If MS Office is pre-installed on the machines, could you please run a repair of MS Office.

I remember another Forum post yesterday where after repairing MS Office, the user was able to install Nitro Pro on the affected machine.

Thanks for your response.

The office comes installed as an app from Microsoft store instead of desktop installation. I have even tried reinstalling, repairing but Nitro still fails.

There are two log files that show error before failing. I am pasting an extract from those logs below, in case this could help resolve the issue.

After checking the logs you provided previously, I can see below events which shows you're trying to install an older build of Nitro Pro 11:

Unfortunately the cleanup and new build of nitro 11 failed with same error. I even uninstalled MS office apps and tried again, but same issue.
