Product installation on new device

I purchased the Nitro Pro 9 in 2014.  Just last week my computer finally died and I had to purchase a new device. I went through the hoops to get my serial number to download and activate it on my new device. Unfortunately that new device was too slow and I went and exchanged it for a  new device.  Now the link I used from the email to download and install Nitro on the 1st new device no longer works on my 2nd new device.  Any ideas?  The activation screens shows that I have 0 activations and 2 activations allowed.  Can someone help me please?

Hi @Mozart Porcena,

Thanks for posting on our Community Forums!

I need to let you know that we no longer support Nitro Pro 9.
It has been discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/technical-details

If you would like to trial our latest product, Nitro Pro 12, you can download it from here: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/try
It will run as a full featured product for 14 days! After that, if you choose not to purchase it, you can still use it as a PDF reader.

Alternatively, if you prefer to keep using Nitro Pro 9, I recommend that you download the appropriate installer here:

http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/retail/000001632

If you are not sure which to pick, this will help: http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/32/000001874

After installation, you can activate by opening Nitro, clicking on the Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activation and enter your Nitro Pro 9 serial number.

I hope this helps.

Cheers!

Thank you for the reply. I would prefer to continue using Nitro Pro 9, but the solutions you mention have not worked. I downloaded the 64 bit installer, but it would not complete the wizard setup.  The error was my system has not been modified.  And I should try at a later time. Not sure what that means.

Once again thank you for the reply. I am going to make one last attempt to get this going.  The instructions you provided from your colleague almost worked, however I ran into some issues. I make a screen shot of what occurred in my CMD command screen. hopefully you can help me get past this. Actually I don't see how to add an attachments so I guess I cant show you. However my CMD command starts as C:\Users\mozar>  instead of the C:\Windows\system32>.  I don't know if that is contributing to my error of "System cannot find path specified" and "Access is denied"

Thank you.

Hi @Mozart Porcena,

Thanks for the update!

Please run the command prompt in administrator mode (as Admin). Only then it will show as C:\Windows\system32

Cheers.
