unable to install Nitro Pro 10

Hi,

Transferring/installing Nitro Pro 10 to new notebook PC, Win 10 64 bit, as Administrator. Got message "Nitro Pro 10 Setup Wizard ended prematurely" because of an error. 

Despite shutting down/restarting PC, message persist. Please help.

Thanks for posting on our Community Forums!

I need to let you know that we no longer support Nitro Pro 10.

It has been discontinued as documented in our Sunset Policy: https://www.gonitro.com/support/sunset-policy#sunsetPolicy
 
If you would like to trial our latest product, Nitro Pro 12, you can download it from here: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/try

Alternatively, if you prefer to keep using Nitro Pro 10, I have seen that error message before and the common cause is permission/ownership access to WindowsApps folder. Even if your Windows account is a member of Administrator group or you are logged in using administrator account, the installation will fail as the account does not have permission/ownership to access WindowsApps folder.

My colleague created a .docx with screenshots for you to have a guide on how to successfully install Nitro Pro 10 including taking ownership of the WindowsApps folder to gain access.

Many thanks, we have managed to get Nitro Pro 10 installed and activated. 🙂 

Will look into Nitro Pro 12.
