David Golan
I had to reinstall Nitro Pro (after deactivating it), but now the Nitro Pro print driver is not shown under printers. I thought it installed automatically. Please advise if there is a solution. Using Windows 10 and Nitro Pro 8. Thanks!
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted April 22, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted April 22, 2019 Hello @DavidGS, Thanks for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! Unfortunately Microsoft has changed the way the 'Print Spooler' works in Windows 10. Because of this Nitro Pro 8 cannot be supported on Windows 10. The PDF Creator built into Nitro Pro 8 will not work properly. Though other functions should remain usable. You have three options from here: 1. You could upgrade to Nitro Pro 12: https://www.gonitro.com/pro/upgrade 2. You could install Nitro Pro 12 as a trial (alongside your current installation), just to use the PDF creator. The Creator will remain after the trial has finished. 3. You could install our alternative PDF creator, PrimoPDF: http://www.primopdf.com/ Hope that helps! David Golan
interesting. I know it worked before I rebuilt my laptop. Perhaps I installed the wrong version. How can I tell what the latest version is that I purchased and what is the earliest version that uses the correct PDF Creator? Thanks!
