Nitro Pro Setup Wizard has failed

Hi,

I can't install Nitro Pro 12 in one of my two computers because I get the "Nitro Pro Setup Wizard has failed" message (it's working fine in the other computer). Tried the fix suggested by the Knowledge Base, but it still doesn't work.  How can I fix the problem? Thank you.

In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please provide the following?:
-Does both machines has the same Windows 10 operating systems? Same build?
-When you attempted to install, did you use our online installer or offline? Online normally connects to the web to download the installation files before installing.

Thanks for the reply. The machine that's giving me issues has Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1903, with OS build 18362.175, installed o 06/27/2019. The one in which I had no problems with is Windows 10 Pro, version 1803, with OS build 17134.829, installed on 06/26/2018. Could the problem be Windows 10 Pro vs. Enterprise?

Having the same issue with my Windows Pro 10 machine.  Working to install v11 so that I can transfer my existing subscription serial number to a new laptop.  Installer for NitroPro11 found at https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads was used.  Launched installer and install ended prematurely with the message "Nitro Pro Setup Wizard has failed."

I had downloaded v12 without issue about an hour prior and then when I went to activate with my key it told me that would only work with v11.  I uninstalled v12, installed v11 and now it will not get past this failure.

Could you please try installing Nitro Pro 11 using below offline installers?:

x64-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x64.msi 
x32-bit: http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_1108470/en/burn/nitro_pro11_ba_x86.msi

Thank your for providing this information.

I believe this is a problem with the installer you are using.

To further assist you, please delete the previous installers you used, uninstall Nitro Pro if it is seen in Control Panel > Programs and Features, reboot your machine then try installing Nitro Pro 12 using these direct installers:

x32 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x86.msi 
x64 http://install.nitropdf.com/professional_12163574/en/retail/nitro_pro12_ba_x64.msi

I ended up finding a solution in the post at 

 

Problem was the installer was looking for elevated permissions not generally granted by default.  Ran the series of commands found in the word doc and this then allowed me to run the installer.  Not sure this will work for everyone as most companies may lock down these types of controls.

Thanks, but I did that (the fix is the Knowledge Base section), but it still doesn't work...

I tried it on the 64 -bit version and still get an error message, in this case "Nitro Pro Setup Wizard Ended Prematurely"...
