Jarred DuQuette
I had to rebuild my laptop after installing a new SSD, and had to re-install all my software from scratch, including Nitro 11. It just shows the splash screen and never actually starts. I have to end the program in task manager. I have been through various Nitro forum threads and tried everything. This includes: - Used the Nitro clean remove tool - Rebooting the laptop after uninstall, and rebooting again after install - Running the installer as Admin - Turning off any antivirus software when trying to install - Using the latest version of the installer - Updating Windows 10 to latest version 1909 - OS Build 18363.

In order for me to further assist you with your concern, could you please run the program with Compatibility by following these steps?: 1. Right-click Nitro Pro desktop shortcut or the NitroPDF.exe (by default is installed in C:\Program Files\Nitro\Pro 11) then select Properties 2. Nitro Pro Properties window will open, click on Compatibility tab 3. Under Compatibility Mode, tick the box for 'Run this program in compatibility mode for', click the drop-down arrow and select Windows 7 if you're using Windows 10 Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps! Jarred DuQuette
Hello @AllainU, Is there any other troubleshooting I can do? I really want to get this working again. I tried version 9 and 10 of Nitro as well with the same results. Freezes at splash screen with no error messages. Just have to end the task in task manager. Thanks,
Jarred DuQuette
I also tried Nitro version 12. No splash screen comes up, but it does freeze in the background and never comes up.
