Steve619 Posted November 13, 2019 Report Share Posted November 13, 2019 We have users trying to print a PDF file and started noticing the print outs are missing some characters on the page when printing from Nitro Pro. When we try printing the same document with Acrobat Reader, it prints all the characters. We have tried this on Nitro Pro version 11.0.3.173 and Nitro Pro version 12.0.0.112. Is there a known issue in our version of Nitro or is there a setting maybe we need to enable? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Official Nitronaut Leslie V Posted November 14, 2019 Official Nitronaut Report Share Posted November 14, 2019 Hello @Steve619 First, please ensure you are using the latest Nitro Pro 12 build: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads If the issue persists, please send us the following: - A sample file to test - Your OS (and also whether it is 32-bit or 64 bit?) - Your printer's brand and model - The exact steps you are taking - A screenshot of what you are seeing or any error message you are receiving - A scan of the print out with missing characters (please highlight the area where we can see the missing characters) Cheers! Steve619 Posted November 18, 2019 Author Report Share Posted November 18, 2019 Hi Leslie, I updated the version of Nitro 12 and we are still seeing the same issue. The OS is Windows 7 64 bit. The printer is an HP Laserjet 4014 with the firmware updated to the latest version. All we are doing is opening the PDF file and then printing it. We are not doing any modification to the file.
