Cannot activate license on second machine

Gentlemen – I have been having problems with using my license on my primary and backup computer for a while now. It seems that I can only activate the software on ONE system, not TWO (I have a primary machine and a travel laptop).  My license serial number is  23460x-xxxxxx-xxxxxx.  I have returned from extended travel (where I had to use the web deactivation after reinstalling my travel laptop OS).  Sadly, on return, my primary computer is deactivated and I cannot activate it, even though I am only using one activation of two.

See the following screenshots - Hmmm, screenshots just show us as big blank rectanges.

Sales said I had 3 options: post to the community, buy email support or upgrade to the next version.  It seemed odd to post a license activation issue to a community group, but thats what was suggested.

Hello @Charlie B,

Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!

Please be aware that our ticketing system is the fastest way we can communicate with our customers with Nitro VIP Access (formerly Software Assurance). Otherwise, we recommend utilizing our Knowledge Base site http://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase and to post your inquiry to our Community Forums https://community.gonitro.com/ (a page where other customers and Nitro Support team can collaborate and share solutions).

To further assist you, I just made adjustments on your Nitro Pro 12 license, so you can now activate your copy of Nitro Pro by going to Help tab > About Nitro Pro > Activate, entering your serial number and clicking Activate.

Thank you for choosing Nitro and I hope this helps!

Thanks!  Whatever you did seems to have fixed the problem.

Separately, regarding your suggestion about using your ticketing system, I would love to do that.  But I would have had to pay extra to do so which seems inappropriate for license activation issues.  (An extra support tier seems perfectly fine for ongoing usage support, but not for getting the product activated which is fundamental and presumably part of the license fee).

Anyway, thanks for your assistance!
