Jake H Posted May 5, 2020 Report Posted May 5, 2020 Is there a way for Nitro to auto-detect form fields and make them fillable without having to manually create each field? Similar to the Adobe Acrobat feature? I'm using nitro pro 12.14.0.558
Official Nitronaut Allain Umailin Posted May 5, 2020 Official Nitronaut Report Posted May 5, 2020 Hello @Jake H, Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums! At the moment, our software does not have an automatic form creation tool. However, you can use the Forms tab in Nitro Pro to add a Text Field or other types of Form fields to the document. The following KB Articles go over the Form tab options: a. Creating and Editing Form Fields: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/forms/000004457 b. Form Tools Summary: https://kb.gonitro.com/knowledgebase#/search/tools/000004567 If you would like to request a change in how Nitro handles auto-creation of fillable forms, you can submit the request directly to our Product Team using the link: https://community.gonitro.com/forum/12-product-improvement/ While we cannot guarantee each feature request submitted will be granted, rest assured our development team will be notified through above website and all updates will be available on this page: https://www.gonitro.com/nps/product-details/downloads Please check for updates on page above from time to time. Thanks for choosing Nitro Pro and I hope this helps!
cirignani@gmail.com Posted July 9, 2020 Report Posted July 9, 2020 Had I known that Nitro does not autodetect form fields, I NEVER would have purchased it. Nitro expects a user to manually drag text fields one at a time through a document filled with fields? What a product failure. This is such a basic feature I just presumed that Nitro had it. Makes it completely unusable. What a waste. Adobe has had this basic feature for years. I feel like I have been ripped off. 2
